Sharon Davarn

Sharon was a special education teacher for 13 years. She was also the early childhood special educator for a three-county program, the principal of a residential treatment facility, and the State Special Education Director of Wyoming. "I love having the opportunity to help this organization grow."
Administrative Assistant
Shannon has been doing secretarial work for the last ten years, and has three children who keep her busy. "I like the fact that the UnBOCS makes a difference in several communities."
Business Manager
Mary has been doing business accounting for 15 years and joined UnBOCS in 2002. "I enjoy this job because I like learning the involved aspects of the Colorado Department of Education and school accounting."
Gifted and Talented Coordinator
Ginny began working with gifted children in 1968, and has since been delighting in the challenge and excitement that gifted children bring to a school. "I love my job because I love being part of a team that is clearly focused on meeting the needs of children in the educational setting."
Psychologist
Bob brings 32 years of experience to UnBOCS. He has worked with children of all ages, and regularly helps kids and families with a wide range of problems. "I enjoy the UnBOCS because I like working with an experienced and professionally competent staff that focuses on the needs of students."
Psychologist
Sharon has 25 years experience helping childen and families, specializing in the areas of substance abuse and eating disorders. "I love working for the UnBOCS because it is a great group of professionals with high ideals and excellent skills."
Speech and Language Pathologist
Nicole has been the Speech-Language Pathologist for the UnBOCS since 2000. "I love the kids that I work with and I learn so much from them every day. I believe my colleagues are professional and possess a high level of expertise in their respective fields.
Occupational Therapist
Jill has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 1996 in settings such as private physician practices, hospitals, and school systems. "These kids always impress me with their gifts and talents. I count myself lucky to be able to work with five different school districts in our region."
Cultural Mediator
Ursula is from Lima, Peru, and has worked with kids in many different settings, including Boy Scouts, ballet, swimming, and non-violence classes. "I love working on a team and I think I am really going to like working with UnBOCS."
Virginia Kile
Early Childhood Specialist
Virginia has been in this line of work for 21 years. She has worked as a preschool teacher, an early childhood special education teacher, and an infant specialist. "I enjoy the team effort of the UnBOCS and I like that we give our best to students, families and schools."
Educational Audiologist
Pam has been working as a school audiologist since 1983. "I love the challenges of this job and the great people who help me meet these challenges."
Physical Therapist
Melissa has been in the physical therapy field since 1992, working with children in many settings, including schools, home care, and hospitals. She has worked with infants through young adults.
SWAP Coordinator
Dee has been the School to Work Alliance Program Coordinator for UnBOCS since 2003, and has been a businesswoman in the Ouray community for many years. "I really enjoy helping young people realize a productive future after high school."
